Lyme Regis Care Home with nursing is situated on the hill above the town of Lyme Regis in the South West of the beautiful county of Dorset.

The building was originally built as a cottage hospital and has been sympathetically converted into the delightful Home it is today.

Lyme Regis is an historic and unspoilt seaside resort and fishing port on the world famous Cobb Harbour. With breathtaking scenery, it is surrounded by beautiful and interesting coastlines and peaceful and charming countryside. In fact, the coastline is now classed as a World Heritage Site because of the outstanding earth science interest.

The town today is an attraction for tourists because of its unique charm. Broad Street, the main street, slopes down to the sea and offers an eclectic mix of shops, pubs and hotels with something for everyone.

In the past it was a popular resort frequented by writers and poets; Turner and Whistler painted here and Jane Austen wrote her novel "Pursuasion" after visiting in 1803-4.

Please do get in touch or, better still, come and see for yourself. We would welcome the opportunity to show you around our lovely Home.
